Graduation is Very Near!!! AKA I am Totally SWAMPED, :P

Isaiah 41:10  Do not be afraid—I am with you! I am your God—let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you. 11 "Those who are angry with you will know the shame of defeat. Those who fight against you will die 12 and will disappear from the earth. 13 I am the Lord your God; I strengthen you and tell you, "Do not be afraid; I will help you.' " 14 The Lord says, "Small and weak as you are, Israel, don't be afraid; I will help you. I, the holy God of Israel, am the one who saves you. 15 I will make you like a threshing board, with spikes that are new and sharp. You will thresh mountains and destroy them; hills will crumble into dust. 16 You will toss them in the air; the wind will carry them off, and they will be scattered by the storm. Then you will be happy because I am your God; you will praise me, the holy God of Israel. 17 "When my people in their need look for water, when their throats are dry with thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer their prayer; I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them. 18 I will make rivers flow among barren hills and springs of water run in the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water and the dry land into flowing springs. 19 I will make cedars grow in the desert, and acacias and myrtles and olive trees. Forests will grow in barren land, forests of pine and juniper and cypress. 20 People will see this and know that I, the Lord, have done it. They will come to understand that Israel's holy God has made it happen."

I am working around the clock and have been for a while and will do so each remaining day as well until I am graduated!  Pray for me, please.  I have never been so challenged in my life.  I feel like I've got two fish and five loaves of bread, and I've got to feed five thousand people!!!  Yet I know that the Lord will meet my every need.

Matthew:  16 "They don't have to leave," answered Jesus. "You yourselves give them something to eat!" 17 "All we have here are five loaves and two fish," they replied. 18 "Then bring them here to me," Jesus said. 19 He ordered the people to sit down on the grass; then he took the five loaves and the two fish, looked up to heaven, and gave thanks to God. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 Everyone ate and had enough. Then the disciples took up twelve baskets full of what was left over. 21 The number of men who ate was about five thousand, not counting the women and children.

Hey, Eowyn! :)

Thanks for the verse! Sometimes things are so tough, that it's easy to forget that He hears us.

Thanks again. And thank you for praying for me!

Hi Muffy! :)

Hey, Eowyn! Thanks for stopping by and for praying. :)

I really appreciate both of yall's prayers. I just gotta get everything done in the next two weeks. The workload is insane! But God is bigger than all of that, and He will help me and uphold me. :D

Yeah, everybody's busy and bushed I think, :P!

eowyn said...

what's with all those pics at the bottom of your blog?

Aslan said...

Those are shots from an anime movie that I saw earlier this year. I only saw most of it, and it was really good, but I never got around to blogging about it. So the pictures are still at the bottom of my blog waiting to be posted, :P

I know how that goes, but just remember that God never gives us more than we can handle and He will get you through this time! You graduating at the end of this semester or next?

Aslan said...

Thanks, Danika! I believe it! :D

I've got corrections and additions left to make and a presentation, so I will have to officially finish in the Spring semester. But God got me as far as He did this Fall and it was sufficient for this (Fall) semester.

Bush is evil....DO you really think he's holding America together. I think he knew about the whole plane crash thing cause there are like, profesional people that say there were bombs planted inside the building and the builders say that the building wouldn't have fallen like that. think about the benifets bush got from it, he has so much more power. It's insane!

Carmelita Spats said...

Sorry that was kind of random.
.......but true.

Aslan said...

Hey, Zaya! :D

I think Bush is protecting us from terrorists the best way he knows how. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would betray our nation so he could gain power; he is a very humble man and a Christian. :)

HOPEFULLY......
WOLF IN SHEEPS clothing maybe.
*snorkle* I still think he's gay!

Aslan said...

Hey, Zaya. :)

Um, well he's married, so how could he be gay?

Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Must pop by your blog as soon as I get a chance. But now, it's bed time time for me, :P!

Later!

zaya, you have inane theories and your not good at presenting them in a persuasive way.

All though i don't like bush either, i think he's kind of avoiding problems, and sweeping things under the rug thinking that no one would notice the lump of problems in the center of the room.

I actually don't think he's a christian, how can we honestly know for sure? I think many people of power make a big deal about their so called 'religious beliefs' because they know its a great wat to win the vote.
